You may be away from your co-workers, but you’re never alone. We’re different from other virtual contact center jobs. Alaska Airlines is a 365-day, 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation, therefore schedules will likely include weekends, holidays, day and evening shifts, and could vary throughout the year. Schedule compliance is closely monitored. While this position allows you to work from your home office, it is required that you remain at your workstation for extended periods of time, adhering to company scheduled breaks and lunches. The timing of working from your own home is based on meeting the requirements, as well as availability of equipment. Soon after you have completed the initial in-office training, we will partner with you to get you working from your home office within a few weeks. During training, you’ll need to cover transportation and accommodations at your own expense, if needed, to the company-designated contact center within the state you reside. To prepare you for success, you will be required to work from our company-designated facility for approximately eight weeks, including three weeks of full-time, in-office, fast-paced, intensive classroom training, followed by three weeks of on-the-job training.
